About Jassem Ghazbanpour
Jassem Ghazbanpour, was born in 1963 in Khoramshahr, Iran. He received his Bachelor of Photography from Tehran Art University in 1988 and started his work as a professional photographer in 1979. He is known mostly for war photography. This exhibition at Silk Road Gallery contains a selection of photographs he had captured of the backstage of the movie “Life and Nothing more” directed by Abbas Kiarostami in 1991. Throughout his career as a photographer, he has participated in several domestic and international exhibitions and has published numerous books.
