Ramyar Manouchehrzadeh

Ramyar Manouchehrzadeh was born in 1980 in Sanandaj and holds a master’s degree in photography from the Art University of Tehran. His series The Father, exhibited in Tehran in 2006, received a special prize in creative photography at the 10th Iranian Photography Biennial. In 2008 his work was shown in Inner Eye at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. He has worked with Silk Road Gallery since 2009. In 2010 he took part in the group exhibition Self-portraits at the gallery, which also presented his work at Paris Photo that year. Since 2009 he has worked with Ali Nadjian as the duo Ali & Ramyar. Their first series, We Live in a Paradoxical Society, was shown at Silk Road Gallery in 2010.
