About the exhibition

Windows, doors, curtains: the thin lines between a room and the world outside. In these fourteen photographs, chosen from across the gallery's artists, people wait, look out, turn away or simply hold the curtain closed. Some were made during the lockdown months of 2020, others years earlier, but all of them pay quiet attention to the moment when inside and outside meet.
