Mahoor Zahraee

Mahoor Zahraee (born 1986, Tehran) is a photographer, art director, publisher and curator. He began photographing in 2001, while studying at a vocational art school. Alongside his photographic practice, he has worked since the early 2010s in the design and publishing of art books, especially photobooks. In 2013 he co-founded Studio 12 & 12, and in 2019 he published First Exercise: Decay. He has worked with Karnameh Publishing since 2013, as its director since 2018, and co-founded Tavaali Publishing in 2022. He is also the founder of Nil Publications, devoted to art and the humanities.
