The ideology and policies of Iranian rulers during the three decades after the Islamic Revolution has been so that the people of this country has been always exposed to crises, sanctions, and threats of war. The flames of the revolution were not still blown out when an eight-year war with Iraq was started. The hope to reforms and improvement of life and prosperity after the war was not rekindled when September 11 launched, the term axis of evil was coined, the story of nuclear energy and the resistance of Iran against the West were narrated, and the protests of 2009-10 Iranian election were sparked. These events have directed the country towards a possible disaster or war.

That is the image of our fears, which can be experienced in our today’s life, which is full of threats and crises; a mixture of sufferings and pains that we fear to reexperience as the past. In each photograph, a part of our memories and imaginations of war has been depicted. One we were ready to die, one in escape, and one beside the corpse of war. We turned our fear into rage.
